Final Ideas

October 5, 2012

I am still in the brainstorming point.  So here goes my ideas:

  1. I am interested in collecting/archiving interesting blog/forum comments.  I would like to use the site as a data collection, where anyone who discovers the site can participate in submitting comments.  This entails the form aspect of the assignment.  The preceding pages would exhibit what has been submitted in various deconstructed manner.  The site is participative/interactive.  The audience is random, but the site is structured  and designed with utmost care of privacy- meaning comments’ authors are removed from the presentation.  Directly inspired by Brion Gysin and William Burrough’s cut-out method.
  2. For a more specific audience with the same comment archive idea, I would like to cater the data collection specifically to my native  dialect.  Comments, post, twit, and etc.  in the language spoken in combination of the dialect would be posted.   The main question for this project is, how my dialect is “spoken” in cyberspace?
  3. Use the cite for group project- collaborative task such as writing paper, metadata input, image sharing and etc.

suggestions r appreciated- jo-sep
