Guardian’s crowd-sourcing project

March 19, 2012

This article was clear and organized. It broke the down key elements you need on your project for crowd-sourcing to really work. Two questions:

  • Do you think they left anything out?
  • Do you think it can work in any context?

Yes and yes. For the former we always sacrifice the perfect for the workable. As for the later I don’t think there’s a place where that MO won’t work IF the intended audience is connected to the NET. An example of where it won’t work are the victims of Kony who are not connected and must rely on high frequency radio to communicate in one direction.
