Second Life Adventures

August 2, 2010

The Second Life experience was not all bad.  There are just so many functions that it can be a bit difficult, but once you get a good look at where things are, how to get to places, how to build items three dimensionally, it gets easier.  Though I think the one thing is that there are avatars almost everywhere, and you can’t really do too much by yourself, so depending on how of a risk taker you are (or how much you you relate to your avatar), you may want to find a small patch of land (or in the sky) somewhere not around anyone to do what you need to (i.e. change clothes).  In the end though, it really does just take practice to get familiar with everything.  One thing I did notice for the events of the day (8/2/10), the Star Wars museum is re-opening in Second Life!
