Here is a short video about a Japanese American artist, Chiura Obata and his life in the Japanese American Internment Camps during the World War II.

    Very interesting! I’ve been to the Japanese American National Museum in LA and they have an actual house that was used as housing in the internment camps. It very interesting to see how quickly and poorly those things were built, and how awful it would be to have to share one w/many people.

    You’re right, we did do our stories on a similar topic. I really enjoyed your video and sound effects. I have never heard of Mr. Chiura Obata, but I will look into his work. I’m sure my grandmother would be interested in seeing it.
